APA has an 88.2% interest of the 1380km Goldfields Gas Pipeline (GGP), which transports gas from the Carnarvon Basin producers to various mining operations in the Pilbara and Goldfields regions of Western Australia.
The GGP currently has long term contracts in place with major mining companies including WMC and Newmont. Current contracts account for a total reserved capacity of approximately 38 PJ/annum.
The Western Australian regulator has approved the GGP Access Arrangement.
The Kambalda Lateral transport gas from the GGP to Kambalda and is connected to the Esperance Power owned Kambalda to Esperance Pipeline.
APA has a 50% interest in the 353 km Midwest Pipeline (MWP) which transports gas from the Dampier to Bunbury Pipeline near Geraldton to a 15km lateral to Mt. Magnet to power generating users in the Mt Magnet region.
The MWP is not covered by the Gas Code and is unregulated.
APA owns 100% of the Parmelia Gas Pipeline (PGP), which transports gas from the Perth Basin to industrial markets in the wider Perth area.
The Parmelia Gas business includes the Mondarra storage facility.
The PGP is not covered by the Gas Code and is unregulated.
